* Strengthen Legs – Indeed, strong legs are the basic need to improve your jump or for jumping high, for that purpose squats and deadlifts are highly useful, after practicing over them, you can do hamstring curls, lunges and other similar exercises. In the scope of high jump, a good portion of power is highly required and that generates by hamstrings and glutes.
* Strengthen Core – Talking about core strengthening does not only about abs, but it mean all muscles that are needed to control the spine, pelvis, back and abs or torso in either words.

1. Hip Raises – The way to do this workout is, lie straight on ground, while on your back, bend your legs at straight 90 %, then raise your hips up and then come down. Do practice of same for 20 – 30 times daily, it will surely help you making your core strong.
2. Russion Twists – Sit with bending your knees, and then twist your torso very slowly side by side. Do it for 15 minutes everyday, it will work wonderfully.
