Her go-toes include broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, legumes, quinoa, blackberries, and raspberries.

Limiting eating to a set time of day can help dieters decrease their intake — many intermittent fasters abide by the 16/8 rule — but only if they eat healthy during their meal hours.

Only fasting will not encourage weight loss if your total caloric consumption and food quality have not improved.

Don’t fall for grocery store marketing — a fat-free diet does not really mean you’re fat-free.

“Having sufficient good fat in our diet can be equivalent to body fat, despite common belief,” says Rachel Fiske, a certified personal trainer & wellness expert.

It is highly recommended to take moderate quantities of good fats such as olive oil, ground linseed, organic nuts, avocados, grass-fed butter , ghee and coconut.

6. Not Getting Enough Sleep

Research indicates that having less sleep than recommended which is 7 to 9 hours can affect weight-loss efforts. Adequate sleep is key.

Having imbalance hormones can lead to low levels of energy and increase the cravings for unhealthy food.
